iGPR Managed Service

From October 2025, our practice will be outsourcing some medical reports to iGPR (intelligent General Practice Reporting), who will process your report on our behalf, using their system iGPR.

iGPR are able to complete most types of factual reports and Subject Access Requests (SARs), and in most cases can do so in a much quicker turnaround time than the practice is able to.

For example, iGPR aim to complete a report within 14-28 days; however, during busy periods this can take the practice up to 6-8 weeks.

By contracting iGPR to undertake this work, it also means that the GPs can spend more time with patients and less time completing reports for insurers and other bodies.

Who are iGPR?

Intelligent General Practice Reporting (iGPR) are an NHS accredited supplier to GP Surgeries across the UK, who have developed a digital system called iGPR, which enables them to create digital, medical reports.

Reports we may send to iGPR
  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Claims
  • Universal Credit Claims
  • Council Tax Exemption Claims
  • GP Letters/Reports
  • Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) Claims
  • Other reports as requested by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Life Insurance Applications
  • Insurance Reports
  • Travel Cancellation Claims
  • Access to Medical Records Requests
  • Pre-employment requests for bodies such as the MoD (including but not limited to the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Airforce).
  • Subject Access Requests (SARs)
Do I have to consent?

No.

If you would prefer that we do not outsource your report to iGPR to complete on our behalf you are able to tell us by indicating on the form below.

However, this will likely mean that the report will take longer to process in-house than using the iGPR service.

Can I withdraw my consent?

Yes.

You can withdraw your consent to allowing iGPR to process your data for this purpose, on behalf of the practice at any time. In order to do this you will need to email topshamadmin@nhs.net with your withdrawal of consent for this purpose.

Please note that your report may already be with iGPR ; if this is the case we will still action your request and contact iGPR to request they stop processing.

How do I get an update on a report or request?

For enquiries please contact 01527 570005 anytime between 9am and 5pm or complete a contact form via their website www.igpr.co.uk/contact
